Job Summary
Lead water/wastewater engineering projects in Corpus Christi, designing water distribution systems, wastewater collection networks, pump stations, and treatment units from concept through permitting and construction administration. Perform hydraulic calculations, pump sizing, and modeling; manage plans, specifications, and permitting; prepare technical reports and cost estimates. Mentor junior engineers, lead client meetings, and coordinate regional business development. Requires Texas P.E. and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; 8+ years in water/wastewater design; travel as needed; familiarity with TCEQ requirements; experience with private and municipal clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
- Texas P.E. license required
- Minimum 8 years in water/wastewater engineering with focus on system design and treatment units
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WaterCAD, ArcGIS
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to travel and work overtime as needed
- Experience mentoring junior staff
- Familiarity with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requirements
- Experience leading design teams a plus
