Job Summary
Regional Psychiatrist overseeing psychiatric clinical programs in Nevada with compliance responsibilities; perform evaluations and assessments for new patients, provide medication management, maintain medical records, and provide clinical oversight of PMHNP documentation servicing the Idaho practice. Collaborate with therapists, psychologists, and social workers; participate in treatment team meetings; pursue ongoing education to stay current in psychiatry; service areas include WA, ID, NV, UT, NM, CO, AZ, MT, WY, KS, TX, and OR. Requires residency in psychiatry, 2+ years post-residency experience, MD or DO degree, state physician licensure, and ability to prescribe controlled substances; driver’s license may be required. Required Qualifications
- Completion of a residency training program in psychiatry and two years of post-residency experience as a psychiatrist in a psychiatric facility required
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
- Licensure as a physician in applicable state
- Licensed by the applicable State Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances
- Possession of a valid state driver’s license may be required
- Knowledge of general medicine and psychiatry; current developments in the field of psychiatry; hospital and clinic organization, management, and procedures
