Job Summary
Nexplore Instructor delivers in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction to PreK-12 students at the Flower Mound site, following provided lesson plans and curriculum. Responsibilities include arriving prepared, delivering standard-aligned instruction, managing instructional materials, communicating with the Program Success Manager and site personnel, and engaging families to support students in developing 21st-century skills. The role emphasizes consistent scheduling, reliability, and the ability to contribute to a mission-driven educational team. This is a part-time position with a 1:00 PM–4:00 PM Friday class and a compensation structure that reflects per-class assignments.
Required Qualifications
- AA Degree (or higher)
- 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred)
- Experience working with children
- Educational (development or training) experience
- Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
- Must commit to the full proposed schedule
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to complete mandatory training
