Job Summary

Produce freely available implementation support materials for Bluebonnet Learning instructional materials, including podcast scripts, unit podcasts, videos, and PLC resources. Design, prototype, and evaluate these materials while developing and reviewing K-5 Integrated curriculum. Embed content into online platforms and revise deliverables based on feedback to ensure high quality. Clearly communicate progress, timelines, and solutions to the supervisor while managing multiple projects with little oversight. Collaborate professionally across teams and attend necessary meetings, delivering quality products reliably under grant-funded conditions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education and/or content specific field
  • 3+ years in a leadership role (grade-level, department, campus, district, etc.)
  • 3+ years proven track record of student achievement in K-8+ instructional setting
  • 3+ years successfully supporting/working with Emergent Bilingual students and students with disabilities
  • Thorough content-specific knowledge and expertise (Social Studies / History / Government)
  • Thorough knowledge of dual language programming and instructional strategies for biliteracy/bilingualism in Texas
  • Ability to read, analyze, understand, internalize and apply rubrics to ensure high quality deliverables creation, evaluation and revision
  • Proficient reading, writing, speaking in Spanish and in English
  • Excellent verbal, writing and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Service oriented with a growth mindset directed toward continuous improvement and learning
  • Innovative approach to problem solving
  • Solutions oriented and flexible with an ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines across multiple projects

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in administration, curriculum, instruction, and assessment or content specific field
  • Strong background in curriculum writing/development
  • 3+ years teaching secondary social studies courses (or a degree in history or related field)
  • Experience as an Instructional Materials Review and Approval (IMRA) quality reviewer
  • Thorough knowledge of Covid Emergency Release (CER) instructional materials and Bluebonnet Learning instructional materials
  • Working knowledge of general cognitive science as well as content-specific cognitive science (i.e. Research-Based Instructional Strategies)
  • Working knowledge of generative AI applications
  • Ability to determine suitability of instructional materials
