Job Summary
Implement the Texas ACE Program by supervising students, leading enrichment activities, and providing academic support to close learning gaps. Plan and lead age-appropriate recreational games, crafts, and clubs while maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging environment from dismissal until parent pickup. Motivate students through positive feedback, gather attendance and achievement data, and communicate effectively with site coordinators, administrators, teachers, and parents. Follow the Robinson ISD school calendar, typically working Mondays through Fridays from 3:15pm to 6:15pm.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- Ability to problem solve and find solutions in a fast-paced environment
- CPR and First Aid or the willingness to obtain them
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Some college or education-related coursework highly preferred
- Previous experience working with children in grades K-6 preferred
- Demonstrates change adeptness; adapts to changing deadlines and nature of assignment
- Initiates and sustains partnerships with campus leaders and community partners
- Shows initiative in seeking solutions to problems
- Demonstrates servant leadership
