Job Summary
Perform routine electrical testing on transformers using an integrated automated test system to verify quality standards. Connect and disconnect transformers, initiate automated sequences, and verify pass/fail results while applying required labels and documentation. Tag and document failed units for repair, ensuring serial numbers, part numbers, and work orders match before releasing product. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area while following all company safety and quality instructions. Move transformers between workstations as needed and assist in cross-training other production areas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow written work instructions and standardized procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday
- Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of transformers weighing up to approximately 50 pounds independently
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements
- Ability to accurately read serial numbers, part numbers, work orders, labels, and nameplate information
- Manual dexterity sufficient to connect testing equipment and apply labels accurately
