Job Summary
Study client test requirements, generate checklists, and structure projects in organizational tools. Coordinate test setups including build and instrumentation to conduct mechanical stiffness, environmental aging, and durability tests while liaising with design and workshop teams for fit-for-purpose rigs. Plan and execute testing activities, supervise technicians, manage resources, and establish permanent contact with clients to identify evolving needs. Generate test reports and prepare technical and economic proposals. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of innovations, findings, and regulations in body and trims testing.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 1 year of experience developing the same or equivalent position in the field of body/trims testing
- Interpret and implement test procedures and specifications
- Design and develop test fixtures and testing rigs
- CAD software proficiency (SolidWorks)
- Data acquisition systems (HBM equipment and CATMAN software)
- Data analysis platforms (DIAdem)
- PLC systems operation
- Pneumatic and electric actuators
- Test controllers (MOOG brand preferred)
- Sensors and transducers (force, pressure, displacement)
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
- Team management and leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
