Job Summary
Testing Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to join QA team. Responsibilities include developing test strategies with product teams, performing manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications, authoring and executing automated tests using Selenium and Appium, tracking defects with Jira/Bugzilla and TestRail, and conducting performance and usability testing. Will perform cross-browser and cross-device validation, contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, and collaborate with developers and designers to ensure high-quality software products. Preferred qualifications include API testing (Postman/REST Assured) and performance testing tools (JMeter/LoadRunner); ISTQB certifications are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in testing web and mobile applications
- Proficiency in manual testing for web and mobile platforms
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or equivalent
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail)
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and SDLC
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test automation is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests in the pipeline is a bonus
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus
