Testing Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate and implement the North Carolina testing program in accordance with the NC Testing Code of Ethics, North Carolina and federal laws, and Local Board of Education policies. Responsibilities include attending DPI trainings, supporting test trainings for state and field testing, communicating testing notifications and results to stakeholders, managing online testing platforms, scanning and scoring state tests when applicable, maintaining test security and confidentiality of student scores, transferring files to the NCDPI server, downloading and distributing online score reports, coordinating state testing (EOG, EOC, ACT, ACT WorkKeys, ACCESS), and staying up-to-date on new policies and procedures. Required skills include strong computer proficiency, experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite, organizational and public relations abilities, and the ability to analyze data and configure reports. Physical requirements include repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged sitting. Johnston County Public Schools is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or higher (preferred)
- Five years of teaching experience (preferred)
- NC Licensure in Administration and/or Supervision (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the North Carolina State Testing Program
- Knowledge of online testing and management systems
- Knowledge of Exceptional Children, 504 and ML accommodations
- Competency in computer skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite Workspace
- Strong organizational and public relations skills
