Job Summary
Plan, execute, and supervise testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems, including HV/EHV switchgear, transformers, protection relays, generators, and SCADA systems. Review project specifications, drawings, and standards to ensure compliance during commissioning stages. Conduct functional, performance, and safety tests on installed electrical equipment while troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Prepare detailed test reports, documentation, and as-built records for client submission. Coordinate with teams to ensure smooth handover of completed systems. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5–7 years of experience in power, utility, or infrastructure projects, with strong knowledge of international standards and Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 5–7 years of experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems within power, utility, or infrastructure projects
- Hands-on experience with protection relays, substation equipment, and power distribution systems
- Strong knowledge of international standards and Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) requirements
