Testing Center Coordinator / CSS Office Coordinator

Job Summary
Oversee daily Testing Center operations by administering exams, ensuring security and confidentiality, and maintaining a professional atmosphere. Manage a team of 14+ student staff by organizing tasks, approving bi-weekly hours, and supervising work-study and tutors. Coordinate logistics for departmental events, maintain accurate records of usage and budgets, and serve as the initial contact for student inquiries. Handle administrative duties including office maintenance, inventory, and calendar management for faculty, staff, and students. Assist the Valor Scholars Coordinator with committee minutes, audits, and event hosting. Liaise with external partners to update contracts and troubleshoot website issues. Support full-time faculty and staff in all areas of student success while maintaining departmental projects and functions.
Required Qualifications
- Active Christian faith, disciplined life, and support for the beliefs of the Assemblies of God and Evangel University
- Understanding and appreciation of the liberal arts
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A pleasant personality with strong customer service skills and the ability to relate well and interact appropriately with faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni and employers
- Ability to handle personal and confidential information with integrity
- Able to plan strategically and resolve issues
- Able to coordinate student staff (work-study and campus employment/tutors)
- Extensive use of MS Office computer programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint)
- Experience in using the computer programs listed above with accuracy and speed
- Must be self-motivated and able to take initiative and work independently on tasks
- Excellent organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize among multiple tasks
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping
- Excellent spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills
- Willingness to maintain a professional demeanor and punctual and consistent attendance
- High School diploma with some college experience
