Job Summary
Coordinate calendars for multiple computer-based test programs and guard against over-booking conflicts. Proctor active test sessions while monitoring for examinee misconduct and ensuring security before, during, and after administrations. Train and certify annually for endorsement to proctor with vendors like ETS, Prometric, and PAN. Assist with test registration, payment management, and maintaining accurate historical records. Communicate with candidates, test companies, and campus communities via phone, email, and in person. Manage office tasks including supplies, cleaning, and website updates while adhering to FERPA and confidentiality laws.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Office experience in an educational setting or comparable experience in the private sector
- High level of personal integrity
- The ability to multi-task, manage time efficiently, and attend to detail with speed and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate
- Good public relations skills
- Excellent computer and internet skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of university policies and procedures
- Experience with university systems (Banner, Canvas, Service Now, etc.)
- Direct experience in another professional or higher education testing center
- Skill with computers in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and networking
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate student
- Two years of directly related experience in testing, teaching, counseling, etc., or an associate's degree in a related field
