Job Summary
Develop comprehensive test strategies, create and execute test cases, and validate system integrations for enterprise healthcare technology solutions. Ensure quality and reliability of clinical applications before deployment, with specific focus on Altera Sunrise, HL7 integrations, BDM Pharmacy Solutions, and Emergency Department Information Systems. Manage functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing while collaborating with technical teams and clinical stakeholders. Requires 10+ years of QA experience in project environments, including mandatory PRINCE2 and Prosci certifications.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Testing and Quality Assurance Analyst in project environments
- Extensive experience in test planning, test case creation, test objective definition, and test execution
- 10+ years of experience testing healthcare information systems implemented in clinical environments
- 10+ years of hands-on experience testing the Altera Sunrise Suite of clinical applications, including Registration and Clinical Documentation modules
- 5+ years of experience testing HL7 integrations, including message validation, mapping, and interface testing
- 2+ years of experience implementing BDM Pharmacy Solutions at a provincial level
- 2+ years of experience implementing or testing Emergency Department Information Systems (EDIS) in urgent care or emergency care environments
- Strong experience with System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, Functional Testing, and End-to-End Testing
- Experience validating clinical workflows, patient registration processes, and healthcare data interfaces
- Ability to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scripts, and defect management processes
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills within healthcare IT projects
- PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner Certification (Mandatory)
- Valid Prosci (ADKAR) Change Management Certification (Mandatory)
