Job Summary
Join Parsons as a Testing and Commissioning Coordinator - LRT Systems, where you will coordinate design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities for LRT systems. This role involves leading the Testing and Commissioning phase, managing Factory Acceptance Testing, and ensuring the integration of systems with safety and quality protocols. Required skills include a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related field, significant experience in Systems, and familiarity with large civil projects. The role demands excellent communication and strong problem-solving abilities, as well as adaptability to dynamic construction environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience
- 5+ years of experience with at least 3 years of experience with Systems (e.g., TCS, TRPS, ATP, CTC, etc.)
- Experience in the construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects
- Experience with Tram/LRT systems is an asset
- A background in systems engineering, requirements management, and verification & validation (V&V) processes is highly desirable
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of interfaces between systems, facilities, and vehicles (e.g., Light Rail Vehicle)
- Knowledge of safety protocols in rail operations and T&C phases
- Excellent communication skills in English (French is a plus)
- Familiarity with the AFP/PPP/P3 construction project models
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, especially in dynamic testing and energization phases
- Ability to negotiate the terrain of an in-process construction site
