Job Summary
Perform functional, electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing of assemblies, subassemblies, and finished products to verify compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. Set up, operate, and verify test equipment, fixtures, and instrumentation while reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Record test results accurately, identify nonconformances, and report product failures or defects to supervisors and engineering teams. Troubleshoot basic equipment issues, monitor production activities for quality compliance, and maintain calibration status of all test gear. Adhere to ESD, FOD, and contamination control requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Requires high school diploma, 1-3 years of manufacturing or electronics testing experience, and ability to work independently within a safety-focused team environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, and work instructions
- Ability to operate a variety of test and measurement equipment
- Working knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical testing principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to identify and report discrepancies and nonconforming conditions
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of manufacturing systems
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certification, vocational training, or military electronics training
- 1-3 years of manufacturing, electronics testing, inspection, or related experience
- Experience operating test equipment in a production environment
