Tester-Plating (1st shift)

Job Summary
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of plated components to verify appearance, finish quality, and compliance with engineering specifications. Perform coating thickness, adhesion, and conductivity tests using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and gauges. Document results in accordance with company procedures and identify non-conforming materials for communication with production and quality teams. Monitor plating processes to ensure operational standards and support root cause investigations for defects. Assist with first-piece, in-process, and final inspections while maintaining a safe work environment. This role supports Vertiv's mission-critical infrastructure technologies for data centers and communication networks, emphasizing safety, integrity, and continuous improvement within a global manufacturing operation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials as required throughout the shift
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while following all environmental, health, and safety requirements
- No calls or agencies
- Vertiv will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States

Desired Qualifications
