Job Summary
Electrical and mechanical functional testing of systems in a manufacturing environment: perform functional testing according to procedures, operate meters and diagnostic tools, identify and document issues, verify proper installation and wiring integrity, complete test reports and checklists, ensure calibration of test equipment, follow safety procedures (LOTO, arc flash, PPE), and collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve test processes and ensure on-time project completion.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation
- Experience using multimeters, insulation testers, torque tools, and other electrical test equipment
- Basic knowledge of electrical theory and troubleshooting principles
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and adherence to established procedures
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
