Job Summary
Prepare test stations mechanically and electrically for test article installation, then install or remove articles and conduct checks to confirm safe operation. Build, rework, or disassemble test articles in preparation for or at the conclusion of testing, while incorporating process improvements in relevant work areas. Execute electrical and/or mechanical facility upgrades to enable testing capability and champion laboratory safety by contributing to standard documentation. This role supports battery cell, module, pack, and energy storage system development within the Power Solutions & Controls Development team in Mossville, IL. Candidates must possess hands-on high voltage electrical work experience and the ability to read and update electrical schematics.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in a relevant technical field from an accredited curriculum
- professional work experience in a related role
- Experience with laboratory testing in electrical systems, preferably Li-Ion battery
- Extensive experience with hands-on high voltage electrical work
- Ability to read, interpret, and update electrical schematics
- Strong ownership mentality and high attention to detail
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills
- This position requires working onsite five days a week
- Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a drug screen
