Job Summary
Senior-level Test & Validation Engineer role focused on validating mechanical drivetrain systems for new product introduction and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with drivetrain design, controls, and cross-functional teams to define validation requirements, plan and execute lab and system-level tests, instrument test units, analyze data, and document findings to support engineering decisions. Responsibilities include preparing test setups, performing validation activities, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, conducting failure analysis and root cause investigations, supporting NPI/CPI programs, and driving ongoing process improvements. The position emphasizes systems-level thinking to evaluate performance, durability, reliability, and cost tradeoffs, with strong emphasis on documentation and cross-functional collaboration. Location: Mossville, IL; travel <10%; no domestic relocation or visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience required.
