Job Summary
Conduct assembly, load testing, I/O testing, and high-power handling of electrical control panels using schematics and standard practices. Operate and validate components including transformers, circuit breakers, relays, and PLC systems while strictly adhering to safety protocols, PPE, and lockout-tagout procedures. Interpret one-line diagrams to execute testing activities with high accuracy, troubleshoot faults using wiring diagrams, and implement corrective actions. Prepare accurate testing reports ensuring traceability and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to identify defects and process inefficiencies. Maintain disciplined 5S practices throughout operations. Report to Production Supervisor or Assembly Manager in an onsite schedule in India Kancheepuram. Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant technical certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or ITI/ Diploma certification in a relevant technical discipline
- The ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions
- Good English communication skills, particularly in reading and writing technical instructions, procedures, and documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Read and interpret schematics and one-line diagrams
- Knowledge of electrical components (breakers, relays, PLCs, transformers)
- Proficiency in using assembly tools (torque, pneumatic, electric tools)
- Understanding of wiring standards, routing, and termination practices
- Strong knowledge of test machines, including setup, parameter configuration, operation, and basic calibration
- Hands-on experience in operating test benches and electrical control panel testing systems
- Familiarity with functional testing, I/O testing, load testing, and high-power testing procedures
- Test results, identify faults, and perform troubleshooting using test equipment and schematics
