Job Summary
Set up, perform, monitor, and document environmental simulation testing including temperature, humidity, thermal cycling, and salt fog according to customer specifications and industry standards. Prepare test samples, verify identification and conditions, and review technical reports for accuracy and consistency. Operate forklifts and hoists as authorized while maintaining laboratory equipment and notifying management of required maintenance or calibration. Stop testing immediately for unsafe conditions or incomplete documentation to ensure safety and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- 2+ years' experience working in a laboratory
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, medical device, automotive, or testing environments
- Experience reading technical documentation
- Excellent verbal and reasoning skills
- Microsoft Office suite experience
- Safety conscious
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude
- Analytical, critical, and troubleshooting thinker
- Organized and dependable
- Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pull, push, carry, reach, bend, twist, climb, squat, and crouch
- Ability to work in an environment containing toxic materials with possible exposure to odors, acids, fumes, and other reactive materials
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, medical device, automotive, or testing environments preferred
- Experience reading technical documentation is preferred
