Job Summary
Conduct structural, acoustical, and fire testing of building products and assemblies according to ASTM, UL, NFPA, and other national and international standards. Assist in construction and demolition of test wall and floor-ceiling assemblies, recording construction details and data in MS Excel. Coordinate client test projects, perform product tests, and monitor man hours and material costs. Learn and support operation of the Steiner tunnel, vertical and horizontal furnaces, and perform additional duties including paid overtime during busy periods. This full-time or part-time role requires lifting 50–60 pounds, working at heights over 4 feet, and adhering to safety standards. Candidates must have two years of construction or manufacturing experience and strong analytical skills. Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in a construction or manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated hands on general construction skills including the use of hand tools, power tools, and other equipment related to standard construction practices
- Ability to consistently lift 50–60 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and/or work from heights more than 4 ft. off the ground
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and client-focused service
- Good written and verbal communication skills with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Adherence to internal quality management system requirements

Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in Construction Technology, Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline
- Experience with framing carpentry, hanging drywall, and/or flooring installation
- Experience writing test reports
- Forklift certification
