Job Summary
Test Technician III on 1st shift on-site in Melbourne, FL. Responsibilities include following blueprints and test procedures to ensure product specifications and tolerances; performing functional tests; recording data and servicing test equipment; loading/unloading electronic equipment in test beds; applying quality-system requirements and participating in continuous improvement efforts (ACE); meeting deadlines set by the team; acquiring required skill/certifications; using SAP and following job instructions; training others as needed; interfacing with other groups to resolve issues; and complying with safety and hazardous-waste programs. The role requires U.S. citizenship and an HS diploma (or GED/technical education) with typically 2 years of relevant experience. FAA safety-sensitivity note and onsite schedule (6:00 AM–3:30 PM, 9/80) are included; the position is based in the United States and includes comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- HS diploma or GED or vocational/technical education
- minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to read schematics
- Working knowledge of DMM, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, & Spectrum Analyzer
- Proficient with SAP and following work instructions
- Follows blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams; functional testing per established procedures
- Trains others for technical tasks as needed
- Interfaces with other functional groups; participates in audits and continuous improvement programs (ACE)
