Test Technician II

Job Summary
Conduct bench, in-process, and final acceptance testing on electronic assemblies using blueprints, schematics, and mil specs. Perform environmental system simulation, leak testing, and IC programming while interpreting data to troubleshoot performance variations. Set up production test equipment including thermal chambers and oscilloscopes, and execute PWB assembly, wire wrap, and component forming. Diagnose component failures, assess repair levels, and document findings that differ from the bill of material. Maintain ESD, explosive handling, and soldering certifications as required. Work flexibly across various cells and interface with engineering to determine test equipment failures.
Required Qualifications
- Over 1 year up to and including 3 years
- Use of addition, subtraction, multiplication and the division of numbers including decimals and fractions
- Simple use of formulas, charts, tables and various types of measuring instruments
- Interpretation involving basic skills knowledge
- Attain security clearance as required
