Job Summary
Assemble prototype units per internal specifications and fabricate parts as needed. Prepare test setups and conduct evaluations in areas including air, sound, vibration, balance, motor, high temp, and structural integrity. Document results for internal customers and third-party agencies like AMCA and UL, then deliver data in paper or electronic formats. Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on test stands and adhere to project timelines while communicating schedules with internal stakeholders. This role supports engineering teams by ensuring accurate product quality and performance data for commercial HVAC systems used globally.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience
- High school or GED
- Ability to read a blue print
- Ability to operate hand tools
- Ability to lift 40lbs
- Completion of internal tow motor safety course
- Completion of Internal Electrical safety course
Desired Qualifications
- 2 Year / Associate Degree or equivalent years of job experience
