Job Summary
Conduct environmental simulation tests for Dynamics, Vibration, Shock, Climatics, and other specialized protocols including Thermal Vacuum and Pressure. Document test setup, progression, and results while organizing data in project logs. Maintain in-depth knowledge of test standards, product procedures, and instrumentation. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and interact with customers for troubleshooting and schedule modifications. Apply 5S principles to ensure a clean, orderly, and safe work area adhering to all safety, health, and environmental regulations. Requires HS diploma or GED, minimum two years testing experience, and willingness to work split or overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of laboratory safety
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a testing related field
- Basic understanding of testing concepts
- Possess computer skills
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Willing to work split shift or overnight shift to support testing when needed
- Ability to lift 50+lbs periodically
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Frequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate)
Desired Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED certificate preferred
- College or vocational school coursework welcomed
- Dynamics testing preferred
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry a plus
