Job Summary
Review product specs and blueprints for scheduled work assignments. Prepare units for test by filling fluids, installing instruments, and pre-setting controls. Check wiring and flows using proper documentation, then test units with appropriate equipment and records. Calculate data, perform final runs, and prepare units for shipment. Maintain good housekeeping in the work area and log daily time entries for manufacturing travelers. Work 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, with overtime as needed on the 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of related experience
- broad knowledge of the section and the operation of machines, equipment, and tools
- Ability to use, read, and interpret drawings and measuring scale or tape proficiently
- Ability to move safely over uneven terrain as well as restricted spaces
- Ability to climb ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs
- Ability to kneel, bend, and stand for long periods
- Ability to work in and around areas with limited space
- Working knowledge of electrical troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of Hydraulics
- Working knowledge of Air Conditioning
- Working knowledge of Diesel Engine applications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified to handle refrigerants per EPA 40 CFR 82 Subpart F prior to use
- Must be able to work 8 hours per day and 5 days per week
- Must be punctual
- Must be available for overtime as needed
- Must be able to work 2nd Shift
- Must work Monday-Friday
- Must work 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Desired Qualifications
- Certified to handle refrigerants per EPA 40 CFR 82 Subpart F prior to use – type 2 or universal, preferred but not required
