Job Summary
Set up and maintain assembly lines while operating testing equipment to test, adjust, align, and calibrate circuitry, components, systems, or subsystems. Work from schematics, diagrams, and oral instructions to update assembly fixtures and build cable and harness assemblies for production electronic products. Perform assembly equipment validation and qualification for industries including Medical, Aerospace, Appliance, and Automotive. Troubleshoot to the component level, maintain records for traceability, and inspect work before release to production. Use measuring equipment to ensure products meet specifications. Requires an Associate's Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or three years of related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
- minimum of three years of directly related experience
- ability to read and understand schematics and blue prints
- understanding of basic electrical/electronic theory (e.g. application of Ohm's Law)
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality at all times
- Proficient with MS Office software and use of a PC
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Well organized and able to multi-task
- Good math and analytical skills
- Good decision making skills
- Ability to plan and organize work activities with a focus on efficiency
- Ability to work under time constraints with changing priorities
- Must be able to follow directions and work in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Desired experience in Medical Device and/or Aerospace Industry
- Desired AutoCAD design experience or equivalent
