Job Summary
Test Technician responsible for testing and troubleshooting electronic components, wiring harnesses, and assemblies. Uses basic knowledge of electricity and circuit concepts to perform tests, troubleshoot to the component level, and analyze field returns or unusual test problems. Employs test equipment (power supplies, DMMs, oscilloscopes, function generators) to verify assemblies, and provides technical reports with findings and recommended solutions. Performs preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment, completes documentation (travelers, defect recording, CRNs), and provides technical support to other departments. Requires ability to work flexible hours/shifts and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Associates degree in electronics or equivalent experience
- 2+ years work experience in electronics, testing and troubleshooting wire harness assemblies, preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Ability to work flexible hours/shifts and overtime
