Test Technician

Test Technician responsible for testing of complete units to meet the companies and customers’ expectations. Works with Manufacturing and Controls Engineers, Quality Technician, and Operations Liaison to test, fault-find, troubleshoot, and meet ship dates of all manufactured units to the expected standards and specifications. Responsibilities include selecting specialized test equipment, setting up, calibrating, testing and troubleshooting of moderately complex circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies; assisting Engineering, Quality, and Technical Writing Teams to develop test specifications, methods, and procedures; monitoring progress and providing status reports; performing complex testing operations and documenting graphs of testing; working independently with moderate supervision; demonstrating good visual and manual dexterity; applying understanding of mechanics and flow control elements; reading complicated drawings and mathematical formulas; exercising discretion and independent judgment; communicating with and providing status reports to customers during FAT and other customer-facing test processes.
