Test Technician - 2nd shift

Job Summary
Test Technician on 2nd shift responsible for setting up dynamometer systems and customer test parts, assembling automotive/propulsion test assemblies, cleaning and maintaining test cells, and supporting test engineers and customers. This role involves fabricating fixtures, troubleshooting, managing multiple tasks, traveling between multiple sites as needed, and upholding UTAC safety and quality standards. Requires a high school degree or equivalent, 2+ years automotive experience, fluent English, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and willingness to travel.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in the automotive (or other propulsion system) industry
- Fluency in English
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for traveling between multiple work sites as needed
- Valid passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Strong problem solving, analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to relay technical information clearly
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work as part of a team
