Job Summary
Test Technician responsible for electrical and mechanical testing of non-energetic product lines, including test evaluation, setup, and performance; equipment preventive maintenance and calibration; test data reporting and plotting; equipment troubleshooting and repair. Primary duties include evaluation, setup and performance of electrical tests, mechanical loading and proofing, with testing conducted per written procedures, MIL-STD standards and industry specifications. Generates test data to support customer requirements; may involve occasional heavy lifting (25 lbs) and overtime. Strong interpretation of written specifications, problem-solving and communication skills are required; aerospace test-lab experience is preferred. Proficiency with instrumentation such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, DAQs, temperature chambers, Instron tensile testers, and related software (e.g., Bluehill Universal, Watlow F4/F4T) is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
