Job Summary

Develop and maintain test and burn-in processes, including reviewing specifications, ensuring safety compliance, and driving corrective actions for yield detractors. Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshoot wiring and firmware configurations, and perform high-level repairs to restore down processes. Assist with new product introductions, log defective units, and facilitate training/certification packages for manufacturing and maintenance staff. Partner with engineering teams on equipment moves and disaster recovery plans while leading on-the-job training for other employees.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree, military technical training, or equivalent experience and training
  • 6 years of related experience
  • Ability to read complicated drawings, mathematics, handbook formulas and a variety of testing and measuring instruments
  • Understanding of manufacturing functions
  • Ability to train others
  • Ability to read, comprehend and interpret complex instructions
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Ability to perform high-level repair, format and 'build' software per unit configuration and connect hardware (cables) between multiple units
  • Ability to configure/flashes firmware on Sub-assemblies and connects Ethernet connections between unit(s)
  • Ability to understand the basics of Disk Arrays and set up for Disk Arrays
  • Ability to troubleshoot/debug at multiple system levels
  • Ability to determine workmanship errors and drive back through quality
  • Ability to perform module verification
  • Ability to troubleshoot wiring of units using schematic diagram and assembly process
  • First line support for workstation and line issues
  • Ability to log and fail defects of units and parts that are defective and address trending failures
  • Advanced technical skills which may be used to conduct on-the-job training and/or lead/guide other employees
  • Highly skilled with ability to move between shifts/ product lines
  • Broad knowledge of functional techniques
  • Awareness of and ability to apply new technologies
  • Ability to determine quality/testing methods/ procedures on new assignments
