Job Summary
Mid- to senior-level Test Systems Engineer performing integration, system and API testing across the NSG, ASG, and Federal agencies to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT. Duties include test and evaluation across NSG/ASG/government environments, testing of applications and APIs in DevOps pipelines, independent integration testing of system software/hardware, planning and executing manual and automated tests, and supporting defect investigations. Requires 6+ years of systems integration experience, experience with test management/defect tracking, and familiarity with traditional, Agile, and DevOps testing practices. Desirable: Master’s degree and experience with JMeter, Jenkins, Docker, Postman, Swagger, Nexus, Apigee or GitHub/GitLab, Java, Bash, Curl, XML, JSON, SQL, Python, JavaScript, AWS, C2S, Model-Based Systems Engineering, and prior NGA/NSG/ASG work. TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph is required. Location hints: Springfield or Chantilly, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, MIS or related STEM degree; or 4 years additional related experience without a degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree
- 6+ years of systems integration experience in government or industry
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
- Experience with traditional, Agile, and DevOps development practices and testing strategies
- TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph
