Job Summary
Mid-Level Test Systems Engineer for SHINE Systems supporting NSG/ASG and Federal Agencies in the Washington DC metro. Key responsibilities include performing test and evaluation across NSG/ASG and Federal Agencies to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT; testing applications and APIs in DevOps pipelines using QA standards; conducting independent integration testing on system software/hardware to verify compliance with requirements; planning and executing manual tests and automated test scripts using scripting/programming languages; and supporting technical investigations for defects discovered during testing. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (or 4 years of equivalent experience or 2 years with a non-STEM degree), 6+ years of systems integration experience in government/industry, experience with test management and defect tracking tools, familiarity with traditional, Agile, and DevOps testing practices, and an active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI access and pass a polygraph. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM degree program; or 4 years of equivalent experience with no degree, or 2 years with a non-STEM degree
- 6+ years of systems integration experience working in government or industry integrating large, complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments in cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructures
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
- Experience with traditional, Agile, and DevOps development practices and associated testing strategies
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI access and pass a polygraph
- Master’s degree (preferred) in related STEM fields
- Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program or project work experience
- Previous IC or DoD program or project work experience
