Test Supervisor - NPES - 3rd shift

Lead the activities of assigned Electronics Test employees through performance of testing Combat and Weapons Systems cabling and components during new construction and delivered ship availabilities onboard submarines. Coordinate Department 278 manning needs among project Chief Test Engineers and serve as primary point of contact for new construction project testing needs between the Chief Test Engineer and Electronics Technicians. Assign work; provide technical expertise, instruction, mentoring, motivation and performance assessment of assigned employees. Supervise all aspects of employees' attendance, training, qualifications, discipline and administrative actions required to maintain the department. Verify work performed by employees is being conducted in accordance with policies and procedures and ensure certification test procedures are performed correctly. Interface with union representation and leadership to resolve personnel or union issues while maintaining electronic test equipment, calibration schedules, purchasing and maintenance.
