Job Summary
Connect and operate test stand units, adjusting controls to meet specifications while reading schematics to ensure proper assembly. Identify and troubleshoot performance abnormalities in electrical and refrigeration systems, then complete required test documentation and communicate status to supervisors. Train new members on machines, procedures, and safety practices while maintaining the 5s program and complying with safety manuals. Operate specialized tools and PIT vehicles, and rework defective pieces to meet quality standards. Work the 2nd shift (5:00 PM to 3:30 AM) Monday through Thursday with a starting wage of $34.56, including shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials
- The ability to stand for majority of the shift
- The ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE
- The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time
- The ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- 2-year trade school certificate in A/C Refrigeration or equivalent education approved by company
