Test Stand Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Maintain and repair SpaceX Rocket Development test stands and ground support equipment to support testing of integrated flight vehicles and rocket engines; perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance; troubleshoot mechanical and electrical hardware; collaborate with design/operations engineers to improve reliability and streamline internal processes; operate in a fast-paced environment with adherence to safety and regulatory standards; require experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and data systems, CMMS/ERP tools, and familiarity with high-pressure, cryogenic, and process piping systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- 3+ years of experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, cryogenic, high-pressure gas, or data systems
- Strong experience with schematics and diagrams for fluid routing, instrumentation, and electrical components
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment in fields such as power generation, oil and gas, aerospace, automotive, or electronics
- Operational knowledge of process instrumentation (pressure transducers, thermocouples, resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), load cells, flow meters)
- Operational knowledge of basic electrical theory and electrical troubleshooting (multimeter fault finding, soldering and connecting)
- Experience with CMMS or ERP systems such as Maximo, SAP, Oracle, and others
- Ability to travel to other SpaceX locations as needed (up to 25 percent of the time)
- ITAR REQUIREMENTS: U.S. citizen, green card holder, or eligible to obtain authorizations
