Test & Quality Engineering Lead (Local Development Centre)

Job Summary
Lead and oversee test planning, verification, validation, and quality assurance across the system lifecycle for complex technology solutions in Singapore. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to test and quality engineers, establish testing standards and quality processes, drive co-development activities with customer engineers, and coordinate testing across software, infrastructure, DevSecOps, systems integration, cybersecurity, and reliability engineering teams. Support test environment preparation, data management, defect analysis, and risk assessments; participate in architecture and technical planning; deliver knowledge-transfer programs and training; ensure solutions meet quality, security, performance, and operational requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
- 7+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, verification and validation, or related disciplines
- Experience leading testing or quality engineering teams on complex technology programs
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, quality frameworks, verification and validation practices, and software lifecycle processes
- Experience supporting system integration testing, acceptance testing, and operational readiness activities
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and cross-functional engineering teams
- Experience mentoring engineers and supporting knowledge transfer, workforce development, training, technical capability development
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in customer-facing and cross-functional environments
