Test Product Engineer

Job Summary
Design, develop, and debug test programs for new and existing semiconductor products on ATE platforms like Teradyne and Advantest. Optimize test time and yield while maintaining coverage standards. Develop necessary test hardware including load boards and probe cards for product characterization. Perform in-depth yield analysis to identify root causes of yield loss and implement corrective actions. Conduct comprehensive product characterization across various operating conditions and support failure analysis activities. Participate in NPI activities, including test plan development, program bring-up, and production ramp-up support. Prepare detailed technical documentation and test reports. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test methodologies and equipment utilization. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Product Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Master's / Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
- Fresh or Less than 2 years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, product engineering, or a related role
- Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and digital/analog circuit design principles
- Proficiency in developing test programs on ATE platforms (e.g., Teradyne UltraFLEX, Advantest 93000)
- Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Familiarity with statistical data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Spotfire) for yield and characterization data
- Knowledge of common semiconductor test methodologies, such as DFT (Design for Test) and DPM (Defect Per Million) concepts
- Experience with test hardware design and debug
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
