Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one academic tutoring and SAT/ACT test preparation for high school students in the Miami metro area, with a focus on AP-level Math/Science and holistic student development. Deliver instruction remotely or in-person during weekday evenings after 3:00 PM and on weekends, with Sunday availability required. Complete content area-specific quizzes and instructional roleplays to verify knowledge and teaching effectiveness before joining the roster. Earn $60–$70/hr base with a $10/hr bonus for in-person sessions, while supporting Guidewell Education's mission to provide transformational educational experiences through student-centered, expert practitioner relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience teaching or tutoring AP-level Math/Science, SAT/ACT Test Prep, or both
- Bachelor's degree
- Living in or near the Miami area
- Ability to consistently commute to in-person, in-home sessions in Miami Beach and Coconut Grove surrounding areas
- Availability for part-time, consistent placement throughout the full school year or longer
- Availability for weekday evenings (after 3:00 PM) and/or on weekends
- Sunday availability
