Job Summary
Material Handler I in a production/warehousing environment will operate material handling equipment to move, store and retrieve product in outlet and recycling areas, sort recyclable materials, prepare items for store rotations, maintain a clean and safe work area, and assist with cross-training in other departments as required. The role requires customer-facing interactions, adherence to warehousing procedures, and the ability to lift heavy items and operate equipment such as balers, compactors, pallet jacks, and dollies.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in warehouse material sorting and production preferred
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with assistance, and up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8 hours)
- Ability to work varied schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
