Job Summary
Dock Shift Supervisor at Discover Goodwill of Southern & Western Colorado. Oversee loading and unloading of trucks, warehouse product placement, and accurate material sorting. Provide leadership and training to subordinates, ensure safe handling of donated goods, and maintain compliance with Goodwill safety standards. Duties include daily logging, coordinating with the Warehouse Supervisor, and facilitating customer and internal communications. Requires a high school diploma and six months of supervisory experience, forklift operation and certification, strong English communication, and ability to train and work with disabled persons; willingness to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months proven supervisory experience
- Ability to operate hydraulic baler and forklift; forklift certification
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work with and train disabled persons in sorting and/or transporting donated goods
