Job Summary
Execute diagnostic tests on server hardware, assemblies, and components using specialized software and Windows or Linux environments. Perform visual inspections, clean boards, and capture serial numbers while setting up test configurations. Report system anomalies to engineers and document yields in the production execution system. Maintain organized testing stations adhering to ESD guidelines and assist with unpacking, labeling, and basic asset movement. Day shift runs from 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday, with swing shifts from 3:00pm to 3:30pm. A high school diploma is required, with an Associate degree in IT or Electronics preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to pass background check
- Ability to safely lift computer equipment weighing up to 20 to 30 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT, Electronics, or Computer Science
- 1–2 years of manufacturing, electronics, or IT tech environment experience
- Basic comprehension of core server components including CPUs, motherboards, RAM modules, network interfaces, and storage drives
- Comfort using command-line prompts and fundamental navigation tools in both Windows and Linux environments
