Job Summary
Execute diagnostic tests on server hardware, assemblies, and components using specialized software and Windows or Linux environments. Set up test environments, input configurations, and capture serial numbers while performing visual inspections and board prep to identify defects. Report system anomalies or hardware failures to engineers and rework teams, then record test yields and operational observations in the production execution system. Maintain organized testing stations adhering to ESD guidelines and assist with unpacking, labeling, and basic asset movement. Requires high school diploma or GED, with 1–2 years of manufacturing or IT experience preferred. Swing shift from 3:00pm to 3:30pm Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to pass background check
- Ability to safely lift computer equipment weighing up to 20 to 30 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT, Electronics, or Computer Science
- 1–2 years of manufacturing, electronics, or IT tech environment experience
- Basic comprehension of core server components including CPUs, motherboards, RAM modules, network interfaces, and storage drives
- Comfort using command-line prompts and fundamental navigation tools in both Windows and Linux environments
- Ability to remain focused during highly structured, repetitive tasks
