Job Summary
Electrical Test Manager leading a team of test engineers and technicians to develop and implement detailed test plans for durable goods manufacturing, direct end-of-line testing, programming and verification of manufactured units, and coordination with product development, quality assurance, and production teams. Responsible for monitoring test progress, reporting quality metrics to senior management, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, driving continuous improvement to optimize testing efficiency and product quality, and managing testing resources including tools, equipment, and budgets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in test management or quality assurance within manufacturing
- Proven experience managing testing teams and coordinating cross-functional testing activities
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and quality standards (ISO 9001) and regulatory compliance relevant to durable goods
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
