Test Lead - Quality & Testing

Job Summary
Lead and shape the testing strategy across functional, performance, automation, and security testing; build and manage a team of testing engineers in India; drive an automation-first quality approach and partner with development, product, architects, and stakeholders to embed quality early in delivery; own test planning, readiness, execution, and governance across multiple initiatives; establish testing standards, metrics, and governance to improve visibility and quality health; champion shift-left and DevSecOps practices, and drive continuous improvement in automation coverage and release confidence; collaborate in a global, matrixed IT organization with flexible/hybrid working arrangements; require a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) and 8+ years of QA/testing experience with 3+ years in leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of progressive experience in software quality assurance and testing across the full software development lifecycle
- 3+ years of demonstrated people leadership experience, including hiring, performance management, mentoring, and team development
- Strong hands-on experience across functional, regression, integration, performance, and automated testing
- Experience with test management tools, defect tracking systems, CI/CD pipelines, shift-left testing practices, and DevOps-aligned quality engineering approaches
- Experience coordinating testing across distributed or multi-location teams
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in life sciences, clinical logistics, pharmaceutical supply chain, transportation, or other operationally complex environments is strongly preferred
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, ITIL, or Lean Six Sigma are a plus
