Test Hardware Engineer

Test Hardware Engineer role within Renesas Electronics' AI-focused power delivery business. Responsibilities include project managing the design and logistics of loadboards, probe cards, test sockets and change kits from definition through NPI/Production Release; reviewing ATE HW Request forms; validating schematics, layouts, and BOM; supporting first article builds, debugging and correlation; maintaining test hardware inventory and status; coordinating vendor shipments; owning vendor tier strategy for loadboards, probe cards, test sockets and change kits; interfacing with ATE Test Engineering for PCB design and production solutions; providing technical direction for production; and applying expertise in module testing on ATE/handlers. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical or related field with 5+ years of experience; 5+ years with Automated Test Systems (ATE); proficiency with ATE analog/digital instruments, PCB layout parasitic reduction, and strong debugging skills. This is a full-time role based in Austin, TX, with in-person work arrangements.
