Job Summary

Fabricate test equipment, fixtures, and cabling while providing routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of faulty components to ensure minimal downtime. Execute manual and automated tests, document results thoroughly, and maintain accurate records of fabrication and repairs. Train other staff on proper equipment use and collaborate with engineers and quality control to address issues and improve testing processes. Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, adhering to all safety standards and regulations. Work under the direction of engineers with an alternate schedule supporting weekends, arriving on-time as scheduled.

Required Qualifications

  • Alternate work schedule supporting weekends
  • Ability to work flexible hours and/or different shifts, if needed
  • Ability to arrive to work on-time, and work each day, as scheduled
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, State and Federal Regulations
  • General operational knowledge of electronic test equipment and environmental systems
  • Understand basic analog circuitry and ability to read electrical schematics and assembly drawings
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical information to engineers and other team members
  • Meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in testing, calibration, and documentation
  • Experience with the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a technical or engineering field preferred
  • 5 years' hands-on experience in electronics test equipment preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to fabricate test equipment and cabling
  • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on a wide range of test equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and develop effective solutions
  • Soldering (IPC J-STD-001 certification) preferred
  • Electronics inspection (IPC A-610 certification) preferred
