Job Summary
As a Test Equipment Engineer / Automation Engineer (PLC), you will develop project business cases, collaborate with teams to enhance automation, simulate and test automated machinery, assist with PLC troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Key responsibilities include drawing technical specifications, preparing status reports, supporting Factory and User Acceptance Testing, and promoting Lean Manufacturing principles. Ideal candidates should have a degree in engineering, proficiency in software development, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage projects efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- In depth understanding of hardware, software, system, and networks
- Skill to communicate and collaborate with others
- Proficient in computer programming and software development
- Ability to troubleshoot and test various solutions
- Critical thinker to develop practical solutions for complex automation processes
- Excellent data management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and infrastructural works
- Degree in an engineering science
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Project Management
- Good time and budget management
- Competence at multitasking
- Team-building skills
- Attention to detail and pursuit of excellence
- Language proficiency: English C1 or higher
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management
- Prince 2 Practitioner certification
